Check In/Check Out
Dubbel Dutch utilizes an online, self check in system. Upon booking, guests will receive a confirmation email that includes an invitation to complete their customer profile and to check in online. One day prior to arrival a Welcome Email will be sent from hello@thedubbeldutch.com with additional hotel information, room number, door key code, parking information, local recommendations, and other helpful resources that may be useful during your stay. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you may need assistance during your arrival and a Dubbel Dutch staff member can arrange to greet you upon arrival. Upon arrival, simply let yourself in the building and your room with your key code and then call/text/email staff to let them know you have arrived. At any time you need your door key code resent or any assistance during your stay call or text 414-376-3439 or email hello@thedubbeldutch.com.
Check In Time: 3:00 PM or anytime after

Early Check In/Out: Requests for early check in and/or late check out can be submitted to Dubbel Dutch staff and will be accommodated based on availability.
Minimum Age to Register: 21 (Any minors staying on the property must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Building Hours
Dubbel Dutch has key code access will be available to all guests. This key code will be sent prior to arrival; it will activate at 3pm on day of arrival and deactivate at 11am on day of check out. Should you need assistance at any time entering the building, please contact Dubbel Dutch staff at (414) 376-3439. Please note that building quiet hours begin at 12:00am and end at 7:00am. We have a strict noise complaint process that includes the following: 1st and 2nd complaint - call/text warning, 3rd complaint - guests may be asked to leave the building. Please be respectful of our business and other guests.
Building Accessibility
The entire first floor of the Dubbel Dutch building is fully ADA Accessible, including the tavern, public bathrooms, and beautiful first floor King Suite. We have a vertical platform lift located at our grotto entrance and we have an ADA Accessible parking space in the rear of the building. Our double house was built in 1898 so there is no elevator.
Payment & Taxes
Payment will be authorized at the time of booking your reservation. Final payments will be processed at least one day prior to your check-in date. Room rates do not include taxes or any additional fees for amenities, parking, or pets. A one-time guest amenity fee of $50.00 per room will be added to your bill. This will give you access to complimentary In-Room and Lounge coffee machines, complimentary bottled water, complimentary Wi-Fi, and housekeeping services and cleaning. Each reservation is taxed based upon current city, county, and state tax regulations. Confirmation of your reservation and receipt of payment will be sent via email. Deposits are required for all half house, full house, or customized buyouts as well as any event space rental and will be included in guest contracts at the time of booking with Dubbel Dutch staff. Please note that our payment gateway merchant utilizes a tokenized payment method to ensure complete security of guest card data and is 100% Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant to Data Security Standards.
Cancelations
At Dubbel Dutch we understand that cancelations may need to occur. We sincerely hope we can work together with you to postpone or reschedule your reservation; however, if cancellation is necessary please review our refund policy. Guest room reservations can be canceled without penalty 72 hours prior to check in (holiday and/or special event(s) exceptions may apply). After that time, a cancelation charge applies equal to one night's room rate plus tax. Please note that house buyout packages, room block agreements, and event agreements have their own cancelation policy. For dates marked as holidays and/or special event(s) a cancelation charge may be applied for the full amount due at the time of booking plus applicable tax regardless of advance notice.
Cancelations must be submitted online or in writing to Hello@TheDubbelDutch.com and are effective once you receive a cancelation confirmation email. If you booked on a third party website such as Expedia or AirBnB, reservations must be canceled through their website or platform (not with the hotel).
Internet
Dubbel Dutch offers complimentary high speed internet through Stamm Tech, which is equipped with encrypted enterprise class Wi-Fi covering the entire property with simultaneous gigabit speed. Dubbel Dutch Guest Wi-Fi password is located in your welcome email and and in all guest rooms.
Pets
Dubbel Dutch is dog friendly. Based on availability, guests may bring their dog with them on their stay for pet fee of $50 per night (+ applicable taxes). Dubbel Dutch does NOT allow pets to be left unattended in guest rooms, requires them to be on a leash at all times in common areas, and are not allowed in our tavern/restaurant areas (other than walking through/ordering). Guests are asked to be courteous with waste clean up and will be responsible for any pet related damages.Service AnimalsAt Dubbel Dutch, certified service animals are welcomed. Please let Dubbel Dutch staff know if you plan to bring your service animal before your visit so that we can best assist you throughout your stay.
Parking
Dubbel Dutch offers 7 self-park spots behind the building, as well as 3 additional spots that we lease in the lot next to our hotel. Depending on availability, guests may reserve a parking spot for their stay at a rate of $35 per night (+ tax). Additional parking options include:

While hotel staff prioritize maintaining safety and security of the property, Dubbel Dutch is not liable for any theft or damages that may occur to guest vehicles. It is recommended that guests do not leave any valuables or personal belongings in their car when left unattended.
Room Amenities
Each room is equipped with a coffee maker, water bottles, TV, hair dryer, mini fridge, iron, and ironing board. Please note: Each guest room is equipped with adjustable heat and air conditioning. There is a guide in each room. Windows in the guest rooms are operable as well. Guests are responsible for closing any open windows when they leave the room.
Luggage Storage
If we are not able to accommodate an early check in or late check out, we are happy to coordinate luggage storage with you. Simply let staff know by calling/texting us or making a note in your reservation at the time of booking.
Smoking
Dubbel Dutch is a non-smoking building, which includes the front porch. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas (back patio).
